OUT!spoken

a digital collection of poetry, art, and nonfiction by LGBTQ+ writers, artists, and activists on the impact of mass incarceration

Published in June 2022, OUT!spoken is a digital journal featuring LGBTQ+ writers, artists, and activists in conversation with ending mass incarceration. It is a space of vulnerability, anger, sadness, resolve, and hope. It aims to provoke thought, call readers to action, and spark radical discussion of a truly just future.

OUT!spoken was a We Are The Voices project, funded by the Mellon Foundation, completed as part of a 2021-2022 Mills College Community Collaborators fellowship.
